The food is very tasty and the service is very friendly
Excellent
Great time at the Bistrot, the place is very nice and quiet. The dishes are tops and the craft beer too. We had the pleasure of talking with Thomas the Owner of the place super nice. Thank you for this moment.
But the attention is very slow .. They take too much to serve .. But the food and coffees are very rich ..
Delicious authentic french food!
Excellent cuts of meat served at the requested term
Good food. Reasonable tourist price. Considerate service. Coffee is so good that a little connoisseur of sweetness joined us for a drink. He made a clean spot in my cup!
A delightful and cozy place with friendly service.
Typical French bistro fare. Great ambiance. Good value for the $$$'s.
Nice space and excellent disposition to attend and accommodate your letter to our needs.
Pricey, but tasty, upscale French food. Lots of butter and lots of yum. I don’t mean to simplify French cuisine so much, but we did enjoy our breakfast meal here.
An excellent little French restaurant in the heart of Cuenca, very friendly owners I recommend, breathtaking view of the cathedral
Excellent restaurant, delicious food, breads and desserts
It is located in a historic and very cozy place where you can have, among other things, a good coffee. The attention is a bit cold, without losing education and good treatment. Recommendable.
I hate leaving bad reviews and this is based on the coffee alone, but the cappuccino was just nasty. Perhaps a one off as I was served by a boy who looked about 14!
Good service, good food, varied menu and excellent location
Nice and beautiful food.
Nice location
It's a great atmosphere at an affordable price.Free Wi-Fi and delicious bread and coffeeAnd wine is cheap
I love it, whenever I go to Cuenca I visit them!
Very nice place, with a very quiet decoration. The rescued attention.
Really nice place in Cuenca where you should go at least once! Really cool terrace also!It feels good to eat something other than chicken and rice and this, well cooked..I recommend !!
They offer freshly made quiche and other French fare. French onion soup & baked apple pie pastry were great as was everything we ordered. We were there for lunch and dined outside for a lovely view of the courtyard.
Excellent location, good craft beer at a decent price for central Cuenca ($ 3.50) and choice of French food we didn't try ... We were just for a drink.
Very cozy
Excellent! A Parisian climate, exquisite delicacies, a corner of Europe in the heart of Cuenca. From the sweet to the salty, from the soup of onions to the eclairs, everything has quality and excellent flavor. An unmissable to take: the baguettes, I think the only ones in all Cuenca that really are and taste like baguettes. Every time we pass I have to have breakfast the next day ... but they never get home !!! Irresistible temptation.
Attentive service. Great onion soup. Clean. Nice desserts. Lovely and I will go back. Thanks
Food is delicious. They have things you won't find just anywhere. The camembert cheese and mushroom sandwich is great.
A nice atmosphere and very rich food
We went a couple of times and it was a bit of a haven of good food! Just a light lunch with quiche and tartiflette and tarte tatin! Nice location and lovely interior. Owner is French married to an Ecuadorean.
Le Bistro in one of my favorite Cuenca restaurants. Most of the sandwiches include a small salad and almost all the meals are under $5.
A tasty restaurant !!!
Typical French restaurant with French specialties tartiflette quiche crêpes salées. Fresh and quality product. Very good value for money. Speak French
Nice people and a great place to stay
EXELENTE THE BEST CREME BRULEE OF THE WORLD.
What about this restaurant .., for those who are around the world and who eat rice and chicken for 6 months (I exaggerate a bit 😁), it's a blessing! Just to see "tartiflette", "cassoulet" or "boeuf bourguignon" put our mouth watering. And the result is at the rendezvous! We had a country plank with excellent homemade rillettes and a very good tartiflette. The bread is also very good! For dessert, the chocolate light filled with vanilla has finished feasting our taste buds!Add to that the staff and manager are very friendly and the setting is beautiful, especially at night!I highly recommend for all those who are lacking French food! For non French, you can go with your eyes closed, this restaurant is of very good quality given the food in Ecuador (difficulty finding real cheese, etc.).Amigos ecuatorianos o sudamericanos, tienen that probar este restaurante! Comida esta riquísima goes to the Comida de Francia.Lo recomiendo!
Decent food, great location
Best baguette in Cuenca! This little gem is tucked behind the Catedral Nuevo and has a cozy, quiet atmosphere. Staff is friendly, coffee is great (I loved the Americano) and the bread is the best I’ve found in the area! We love this little spot and can’t wait to go back!
Excellent place and attention, food alike. And the very nice place to walk at night
Desserts are not that rich
Chocolate molten lava cake was absolutely spectacular. One of... Or perhaps THE best I've ever had.
The place is handsome, a simple French letter. And good price. Normal attention Recommended
The best in coffee
Excellent traditional French food. Bread dough, rich and excellent price. Recommended.
Excellent coffee and food, also a very nice treatment !!!
Great food. Make sure to try their quiche - veggie version sometimes- and their brioche. The best in Cuenca
Next door to the New Cathedral right in front of Calderon Park in the heart of Cuenca. Good food, nothing fancy, simple and delicious. I liked very much their crème brûlée, too bad it wasn’t enough.
Very good food
Very good space to share with friends.
It is an indispensable visit.
